About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and analytical Jefe/a de Planificación y Control de Gestión to lead their financial planning and management control functions in Salamanca . This senior role is crucial for ensuring the financial health and strategic alignment of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will be responsible for developing robust financial models, providing insights to support decision‑making, and driving efficiency across financial operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the annual budgeting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Implement and refine management control systems to monitor financial performance against targets.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management accounting, or financial control.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a significant plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with the business environment in Castile and León is an asset.
• Must be eligible to work remotely and possess a reliable internet connection.
• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory; professional proficiency in English is required.
