Signicat seeks a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for a fully remote engineering team. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams, contributing across the full development lifecycle.

We value strong problem-solving, deep backend expertise, and experience with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms. Occasional travel for team meetups may be required, with flexibility for Spain-based candidates, including Córdoba.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Experience with RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of API design principles (RESTful).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, especially in a remote setting.
