Job summary

Avp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for a fully remote engineering team. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, contributing to all lifecycle phases while promoting robust architecture and best practices.

The role supports remote work with occasional in-person team meetups, offering a flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, especially remotely.
