Coforge in Madrid is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Java/AWS) to enhance platform reliability, scalability and performance. The role blends production support, incident management and development to ensure high availability.

The position requires strong Java and AWS skills, experience with microservices and a proactive approach to automation, monitoring, and on‑call duties in a hybrid Madrid setting.

• Manage and support AWS‑based platforms, ensuring their reliability and performance.
• Handle incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution using tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW)/Columbus.
• Develop solutions, fixes, and improvements using Java and microservices architectures.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of platform operations.
• Monitor systems using observability tools and proactively identify issues.
• Participate in on‑call rotations.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system resilience.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience in Java and AWS to support and enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform. This role combines production support, incident management, and development, with the goal of ensuring high system availability.
• Manage and support AWS‑based platforms, ensuring their reliability and performance.
• Handle incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution using tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW)/Columbus.
