SICPA in Madrid is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our R&I team. You will develop and maintain backend libraries and services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 within a microservices architecture.

You will design and implement mission-critical Java applications for industrial automation and ensure integration with UI, hardware, and cloud servers. The role emphasizes modern testing, automated deployment, and Agile SCRUM practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Java 17 experience.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, and Parquet.
• Proficient with Git.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiar with Keycloak OAuth, gRPC, and Protobuf.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend libraries and services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3 in a microservices architecture.
• Architect, design and implement generic mission-critical Java applications for industrial automation.
• Ensure optimal integration of other layers (UI, hardware devices, cloud server).
• Apply outstanding software engineering practices and maintain high standards of design and code quality.
• Apply state-of-the-art automated testing practices (unit, component, integration tests).
• Work on packaging and automated deployment of software.
• Contribute to product ideas, prototypes, functional and design specifications.
• Apply agile methodologies throughout the development process: SCRUM.
