eDreams ODIGEO is seeking a Backend Architect to lead technical evolution of backend microservices in a large-scale e-commerce platform. You will report to the Chief Architect and collaborate with development, product, and other architects to meet demanding performance goals.

The role requires 8+ years in backend Java, strong design skills, and the ability to mentor engineers in a hybrid work environment. You’ll work with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and data platforms.

Formación

• 8+ years of backend development experience in Java.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with performance engineering and scalable systems.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the technical evolution of one or more backend microservices.
• Be the go-to person for lead engineers on coding, design and tools.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (~30 developers).
• Mentor lead and senior engineers in their technical growth.
• Contribute ideas to backlogs and cross-team initiatives.
