Hispasat is seeking an IVV Manager to drive assembly, integration and verification activities for the Ground Segment project. You will oversee schedules, allocate resources and ensure adherence to ECSS standards.

Based in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain, the role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of IVV experience in space projects, with fluency in English. EU nationality and security clearance are anticipated.

• Develop, implement and optimise IVV processes for the Ground Segment project.
• Collaborate with project managers to define schedules, allocate resources and milestones.
• Prepare, maintain and oversee the IVV schedule for the project.
• Plan, produce, maintain and coordinate IVV documentation.
• Follow up non-conformance reports with Product Assurance.
• Lead or coordinate AIV participation in reviews and progress meetings.

Hispasat, as part of the SpaceRISE consortium, is responsible for the technical implementation and ensuring the success of the IRIS² project, leveraging its extensive experience in satellite communications. This collaboration is essential to provide secure and reliable high-performance communication solutions to the European Union and its member states.

To be part of this project, we are looking for IVV Manager. The responsibilities of the position are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise assembly, integration and verification processes for the Ground Segment project, ensuring fulfilment of requirements, adherence to industry standards and application of best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to define schedules, allocate resources and establish milestones for the efficient and timely execution of project activities.
• Prepare, maintain and oversee the IVV schedule for the project.
• Plan, produce, maintain, monitor and coordinate the preparation of IVV documentation.
• Follow up non-conformance reports, working closely with Product Assurance to assess their impact on ongoing or planned tests.
• Lead or coordinate AIV participation in reviews, boards, progress meetings and other relevant project meetings.

Minimum requirements.

• Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IVV roles for space or Ground Segment projects.
• Hands-on hardware and/or software experience.
• Familiarity with ESA or European Commission projects.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Nationality of an EU Member State and willingness to undergo an EU Secret clearance process.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; any other European language is considered an asset.
