Job summary

Veritas Genetics in Barcelona is seeking an IT Systems & Identity Administrator to own our internal corporate infrastructure, digital identity, and networking. You will support software engineering and bioinformatics teams by removing IT roadblocks and enabling secure, uninterrupted operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of proven Systems/SaaS administration experience, fluent Spanish and English, and hands-on work with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking, and cloud tools.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in Systems/SaaS Administration, preferably in healthcare/biotech.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition to migrate corporate SaaS services to an internalized environment.
• Configure and govern Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and SSO for unified secure access.
• Standardize hardware via MDM (Intune) and unify legacy configurations.
• Take ownership of corporate networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs).
• Act as Level 2/3 escalation point and support Helpdesk tasks when needed.

We are hiring! We are looking for an IT Systems & Identity Administrator.

We are looking for a highly autonomous IT Systems & Identity Administrator to take ownership of our internal corporate infrastructure, digital identity, and networking. You will be the operational backbone ensuring that our internal Software Engineering and Bioinformatics teams can focus purely on our clinical applications without being slowed down by corporate IT roadblocks.

• Lead the technical transition to untangle and migrate our corporate SaaS services from our current infrastructure into our own newly internalized environment.
• Configure and govern Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Single Sign-On (SSO) to guarantee unified and secure access across our heavily fragmented ecosystem of third-party and in-house platforms.
• Standardize our hardware fleet via MDM (Microsoft Intune), unifying the three different legacy configurations currently coexisting across the company into a single, secure institutional standard.
• Take full internal control of our corporate networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, VPNs), which is currently managed centrally by the parent group.
• Act as the primary Level 2/3 technical escalation point.
• Provide direct operational backup to our Helpdesk members. You must be willing to jump into the trenches to handle Level 1 tasks (hardware provisioning, onboarding, ticket resolution) when required.
• Transitionally administer and maintain legacy physical on-premise servers and hardware, planning their eventual migration to the cloud.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Systems/SaaS Administration, preferably within the healthcare or biotech industries.
• Languages: Fluent in both Spanish and English (C1 level minimum).

Technical Stack:

• Advanced administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (formerly Active Directory), and Intune.
• Solid understanding of corporate networking (switches, routing, firewalls, and secure VPN connectivity).
• Proven track record dealing with heterogeneous tech ecosystems and integrating third-party platforms.
• Previous exposure to AWS cloud environments and agile tools (Jira, Confluence) is highly valued.
