Factorial is seeking a Mid IT Systems & IAM Engineer to design, implement, and automate a scalable identity ecosystem that grows with our hypergrowth. You will own the Identity & Access Management architecture and collaborate closely with the Systems, Legal, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required. The role is based in Barcelona with a hybrid work model (80% on-site, 20% remote) and a strong focus on AI-enabled automation and secure cloud solutions.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in IT Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, or IAM environments.
• Deep understanding of identity governance, automated provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Basic scripting knowledge.
• Experience in fast-paced tech environments or scale-ups with hypergrowth onboarding.
• Familiarity with modern automated SaaS management tools, Agile methodologies and AI-enabled ops (nice to have).
• Excellent communication skills to align with legal, security, and platform teams.

We’re looking for a IT Systems & IAM Engineer to take our identity and core platforms to the next level.

At Factorial, we are on a mission to change how small and medium-sized companies manage their teams. To support this massive expansion and the high volume of monthly onboardings, we are looking for a Mid IT Systems & IAM Engineer to join our Tech team in Barcelona (Hybrid). The Role

As our Mid IT Systems & IAM Engineer, you will be the absolute owner of our Identity & Access Management architecture. You will not inherit old legacy databases or messy migrations; your goal is to design, implement, and maintain a pristine, secure, and fully automated identity ecosystem that scales alongside our hypergrowth. You will work closely with the Systems Team, supporting the team's structure (1 Director, 1 Coordinator), and act as the strategic bridge between Legal, Security, and Infrastructure.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Identity Architecture: Manage and fully configure user identities, role definitions, and positions across the organization.
• Automated Provisioning: Build, scale, and maintain automated workflows for user provisioning and deprovisioning to handle massive monthly onboarding waves seamlessly.
• Cross-Department Partnership: Act as the main point of contact and align access governance policies with Legal, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• AI & Agile Operations: Leverage AI tools and modern integration methodologies to optimize internal workflows, eliminate manual ticket tasks, and speed up company growth.
• System Support Collaboration: Partner with the Support and Systems teams to ensure optimal application access, single sign-on (SSO), and lifecycle management.

Our Tech Stack

• IAM & Identity Providers: Okta (Workflows / SCIM), Azure AD / Entra ID, Google Workspace.
• Integrations & Automation: YepCode (our integration platform powered by AI), Webhooks, and REST APIs.
• Scripting / Coding: Python, TypeScript, Bash, or Ruby on Rails.
• Methodologies: Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and AI-native operational toolings.

What We’re Looking For?

• Have+3 years of experience working in IT Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, or dedicated Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
• Have IAM Core Knowledge: deep understanding of identity governance, automated provisioning, lifecycle management, and directory structures.
• You know the basis of scripting.
• Experience working in fast-paced tech environments or scale-ups facing hypergrowth and high-volume onboarding pipelines.
• Familiarity with modern automated SaaS management tools, agile methodologies, and leveraging AI (or tools like YepCode) to streamline operations. (good to have)
• Excellent communication skills to align with diverse stakeholders like legal compliance officers, security auditors, and platform engineers.
• Passion for building clean, scalable cloud solutions from the ground up without relying on or dragging forward legacy technical debt.
