Allianz Services is seeking an IT Product Owner to manage the Wave by McKinsey platform and SAP IP topics, aligning IT spend with business strategy. You will work with ITE Managers, Group Finance and Allianz Technology to drive planning, reporting and governance.

The role requires SAFe/PMI experience, SAP IP, ServiceNow and strong Excel skills, plus fluent English. A hybrid work model and global collaboration are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with project management frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2 and/or SAFe).
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong experience with SAP Integrated Planning and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of VBA and Power BI is an advantage.
• Very good English (written and spoken).

Role Overview:

The IT Economics department, is responsible for planning, reporting and steering Allianz Group’s IT Spend and ensuring alignment with the broader Operations & IT Strategy. The team ensures that IT investments deliver measurable value while supporting productivity, growth and financial targets.

As an IT Product Owner, you will own the Program Management tool WAVE by McKinsey, which holds the leading project master data and financial reporting figures (Plan, Actuals and Forecast) and KPIs for several Operating Entities (OEs). You will drive platform which is used for the planning, reporting, steering and benefits management, working closely with ITE Managers, Group Finance, Group Business Areas and Allianz Technology.

Additionally, the new PO will support and back up SAP IP (SAP Integrated Planning) topics as needed, ensuring continuity and coverage across both platforms.

What you do:

• Run the application, handle ad hoc requests and drive change
• Align needed changes with business, prioritize them (backlog mgt) and drive development with developers
• Secure an in time & quality delivery of changes and drive respective user communication
• Drive standardization of workflows, reporting structures, and governance processes within the application
• Manage all activities required to plan, report and steer IT Spend (change & run) and corresponding benefits.
• Identify critical issues early, perform root-cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor the IT Change Project Portfolio, including major Group IT programs, covering financials, scope, delivery, risks and dependencies.
• Enable effective collaboration between OEs, H4 and Allianz Technology as the shared services provider.
• Continuously improve IT Change Spend Management processes (definitions, data provisioning, quality checks, standards).

What you bring:

• Academic degree (Master’s/Diploma) in IT, Economics or Business Administration.
• Practical experience with project management frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2 and/or SAFe), ideally certified.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong experience with SAP Integrated Planning and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of VBA and Power BI is an advantage.
• Very good English (written and spoken); additional languages welcome.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

• Senior profile with Product Owner experience in SAAS platforms (Allianz experience preferred), additionally SAP BW & IP
• E2E knowledge of running an application and driving changes
• Strong expertise in IT and Operations, with a clear grasp of how they align financially and strategically Proven knowledge of IT project portfolio management principles and practices
• High business maturity with proven ability to work effectively with C-level stakeholders (COO, CTO).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate complex financial topics for non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-driven mindset, strong communicational assets & willingness/ability to drive topics in responsibility
• Team spirit and collaborative attitude
• Curiosity, continuous learning and willingness to challenge and improve processes.
