Job summary

Mondi Group is seeking an IT/OT Specialist to maintain and optimize OT systems in its paper bag production plants, including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs. You will ensure IT/OT network segmentation, implement cybersecurity measures, and support data integration for analytics.

Required are strong IT infrastructure, networking and OT skills, with fluency in Spanish and English. Travel up to 10% across Catalonia, Madrid, and the Basque Country is expected. Start date available in November.

Qualifications

• Must have strong IT infrastructure and networking knowledge.
• Experience with OT systems like SCADA, PLC, and HMI.
• Strong cybersecurity, patch management, and threat detection skills.
• Ability to guarantee high uptime and process continuity.
• Fluent Spanish and English; Catalan/Italian nice to have.

Responsibilities

Your Mission:

• Maintain and optimize OT systemsin paper bag production plants, including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs
• Ensure network reliability and segmentationbetween IT and OT environments
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measuresfor production systems
• Support integration of production datainto enterprise IT systems for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams to minimize downtime and optimize processes
• Participate in change management, system upgrades, and compliance audits
• Troubleshoot complexcross-domain IT/OT issuesimpacting production
