Job summary

Roche in Madrid seeks an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain resilient network solutions. You will resolve complex incidents, run PoCs in lab environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

The role requires strong problem solving, clear communication, English fluency, and familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and IaC. CCNA certification is preferred, and you will contribute to diagrams, runbooks, and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Network Engineer experience.
• Experience with large data networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN) and vendors.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 3/4 escalation point for network incidents and post-mortems.
• Design, validate and test PoCs in lab environments for network tools.
• Maintain network diagrams, runbooks and topology specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
