Quadrante-Meta Engineering is seeking an IT Manager to lead the local IT team across Spain and LatAm, ensuring security and compliance while driving regional digital initiatives. The role is based in Barcelona or Madrid with a permanent contract and senior leadership exposure.

You will partner with global providers, manage budgets, and align IT strategy with business goals, enabling secure operations across time zones and markets. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• 5+ years leading IT teams with strong ENS and ISO 27001 experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, incident response, and vendor/software licensing.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; ability to travel within LatAm.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a IT Manager — Spain & LatAm to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact building projects.

Location: Barcelona or Madrid | Contract type: Permanent | Seniority level: Manager

Job Responsibilities — What you will build:

In this role, you will contribute directly to shaping our future and creating tangible impact.

You will:

• Lead and manage the local IT team across Spain and LatAm, covering developers, system administrators and support staff, including hiring, performance management and day-to-day leadership.
• Ensure and maintain compliance with ENS and ISO 27001 frameworks, overseeing audit preparation, remediation plans and cybersecurity incident response.
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives across the region, managing vendor relationships, software licensing, IT budget and service continuity across different time zones.
• Act as the primary point of contact for global managed services providers, aligning global IT strategy with local needs while defining and monitoring SLAs and reporting regularly to leadership on infrastructure status and security standing.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT teams, with proven expertise in ENS and ISO 27001, cybersecurity and incident response, and vendor and software licensing management; relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus; native or fluent Spanish and fluent English required; availability to travel within the LatAm region.
