Arxada is seeking an IT Manager for Business Intelligence and Data Platforms to lead the enterprise BI strategy and governance. You will evolve the Microsoft-based analytics stack, strengthen SAP integration, and enable AI-readiness across the organization.

You will mentor a BI team, manage outsourcing partnerships, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions that drive business performance.

• Proven leadership of BI, Data, Analytics, or Data Platform teams.
• Experience with modern data platforms and SAP data integration is beneficial.

In this highly visible role, you will drive the evolution of our BI and enterprise data landscape, enabling data-driven decision making, trusted enterprise data foundations, stronger SAP integration, and readiness for future AI and advanced analytics use cases across the organization.Combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, you will lead a team of BI professionals, oversee key outsourcing partnerships, and work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Arxada’s Microsoft-based analytics ecosystem while ensuring today’s BI and SAP reporting stack remains reliable, governed, and business-focused.Essential Job Functions:Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Intelligence and Data Platforms team, supporting talent growth, engagement, and capability building.Own the strategic roadmap and architecture for Arxada’s enterprise data and analytics platform, ensuring a scalable, governed, and business-focused data foundation. Lead the evolution of the current Microsoft-based analytics stack while evaluating future data platform capabilities and integration patterns.Manage and govern the relationship with external outsourcing partners, ensuring successful delivery through clear service levels, performance metrics, and governance processes.Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, data quality, semantic layers, reporting standards, and platform governance.Enhance Arxada’s SAP data integration capabilities and prepare trusted SAP and enterprise data foundations for analytics, AI, and future platform evolution.Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver analytics, reporting, and data solutions that improve business performance and operational efficiency.Lead modernization initiatives across the BI and data platform landscape, ensuring scalable, secure, governed, and AI-ready data solutions.Define and track key performance indicators, budgets, roadmaps, and resource plans to ensure reliable platform performance and measurable business impact.Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience leading Business Intelligence, Data, Analytics, or Data Platform functions, including people leadership and vendor management.Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of modern data and analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and Power BI. Experience with SAP data integration and familiarity with modern data platform capabilities such as Databricks are advantageous.Experience designing and delivering SAP data integrations, enterprise reporting solutions, and analytics-ready data architectures.dStrong understanding of data governance, platform architecture, security, and enterprise-scale solution delivery.Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Experience managing complex transformation initiatives, roadmaps, budgets, and cross-functional programs in a global environment.Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.Arxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
