Amaris Consulting is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our global, remote team. The candidate will manage Linux environments, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure, using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform. Strong monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk is expected, along with NGINX and Veeam for web and backup solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure administration, Linux environments, cloud platforms, and automation technologies. Fluent English is required as part of this role.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
• At least 2 years of experience administering Linux environments in OT environments.
• Strong proficiency with Linux (SUSE and/or Red Hat) administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure.

• Administer and maintain Linux environments (SUSE and/or Red Hat).
• Manage and support virtualization platforms using VMware and KVM.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
• Configure and manage containerised environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement and maintain automation processes using Ansible and Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability through Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Manage and optimize web infrastructure components such as NGINX.
• Support backup, recovery, and business continuity solutions, including Veeam.
• Apply infrastructure security standards and best practices across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in IT Infrastructure and Cloud Operations.
