BASF Digital Hub Madrid is seeking a talented Delivery Lead to join our Agriculture Solutions Digital Factory. You will oversee technology project delivery, manage timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders, and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers and analysts.

You will translate Finance-specific requirements into IT delivery plans, collaborate with the Product Team, and ensure technical documentation in Azure DevOps, with a focus on data governance, security, and continuous

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Agile certifications such as CSM or PSM preferred.
• Oracle SQL experience (databases, SQL queries, procedures).
• Experience delivering Finance process solutions (Accounting, Controlling, Planning, Treasury, Tax, ESG Reporting, or Credit Management).
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are currently seeking a talented Delivery Lead to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of technology projects within our organization. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
• With an emphasis on experience with Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects., the ideal candidate should have a strong background in data management, data warehousing, and analytics.
• The ideal candidate should have experience managing complex data projects, including data integration, data migration, and data modeling. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with data governance, data quality, and data security.
• The IT Delivery Lead should be able to manage a team of data engineers, data analysts, and other IT professionals, and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. They should also be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Translate Finance-specific requirements, into IT delivery plans.
• Take ownership of providing technical expertise, consultation, and guidance to the Product Team.
• Understand the technical requirements of deliverables and ensure the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including developed code, stored in Azure DevOps.
• Support the Product Team with technical troubleshooting for the smooth implementation and maintenance of the solution, collaborating with the development team.
• Collect feedback, address impediments, and advocate for process improvement, teamwork, and adherence to APB/I's ways of working to drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate productive team meetings, fostering equal participation through open communication to promote collaboration and innovation, align new requirements with team capacity, priorities, and report team performance to stakeholders and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure successful implementation, offering training or coaching for enhanced collaboration.
• Other responsibilities may include developing project plans and schedules, managing project budgets and resources, identifying and mitigating project risks, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to established standards and best practices.
• Manage vendors and contractors, including contracts, invoices, purchase orders.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are preferred.
• Oracle SQL experience (databases, SQL queries, procedures), Github and REST APIs
• Varied and extensive experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations.
• Experience delivering solutions supporting Finance processes, such as Accounting, Controlling, Planning, Treasury, Tax, ESG Reporting, or Credit Management.
• Experience managing complex projects related to Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects., including data integration, data migration, and data modeling.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
• Ability to lead Agile teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices
• Strong understanding of Agile project management tools and techniques, such as user stories, backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Experience experience working with Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects. tools such as data warehouses, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying up to-date with industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies andFinance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects.
• Ability to identify areas for process improvement, implement Agile practices, and mentor team members in Agile principles.

Nice to have:

• Experience with enterprise Finance solutions, SAP environments, cloud-based applications, and their integration with ERP and data platforms is an advantage.
• Data and process integration experience with mulesoft, databricks, azure data factory.
