Trama TecnoAmbiental (TTA) in Barcelona seeks a Data and programming engineer to join the Knowledge and Innovation Unit. You will support R&D Project Managers, develop embedded and cloud code for the open-source remote monitoring platform, and document architecture and data flows.

The role includes integration support, data analysis, and producing a knowledge base for platform improvements, with travel to project sites and collaboration across continents.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Computer Science, Telecommunications engineering or similar.
• 1–4 years of experience in digital platforms, software development, IoT, or monitoring systems; renewable energy projects desirable.
• Fluency in Catalan and English, especially written skills.
• Knowledge of IoT platforms, data acquisition devices, and communication protocols.
• Experience with databases, APIs, software architecture, and data models.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills; proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Program IoT platforms, develop and deploy code for embedded systems, cloud platforms, and protocols.
• Create and consolidate technical documentation for the remote monitoring platform.
• Support integration of DRE and solar mini-grids with the monitoring system.
• Analyze data from multiple platforms to extract insights and improve functionality.
• Lead the development of a database of monitored projects across platforms.
• Participate in R&D projects, testing and documenting new technologies.
• Provide support to project management activities; travel up to 10% for sites.
