With approximately USD 1.9 billion in assets under management, we invest across Private Equity, Private Credit and Private Equity Partnerships, seeking measurable environmental and social impact alongside attractive, market-rate financial returns.

The Role

We are seeking a high-performing Private Credit Investment Analyst. In this position, you will support the Blue Earth Capital Private Credit team focused on Asia (with a particular focus on South Asia and South-East Asia as well as selectively Central Asia). The role offers the opportunity to work across the full investment lifecycle – from pipeline screening to structuring, due diligence and transaction execution, as well as ongoing portfolio management. We are looking for someone who brings strong foundational experience and can contribute to our investing activities from day one. The position is full-time and located in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to all stages of the investment lifecycle, primarily for the Asia team, including but not limited to:
  • Screening: Help assess early-stage investment opportunities, prepare screening materials, support pipeline development, contribute to sourcing calls & meetings. Keep pipeline records current and conduct thematic research on sectors, markets, and macro trends relevant to the investment strategy.
  • Due diligence & transaction execution: Review of investment materials and datarooms, virtual & on-site due diligence, investment memo preparation, qualitative and quantitative credit risk analysis including financial modelling, impact/ESG evaluation, support on closing workstreams such as KYC, facilitating internal processes and stakeholder management.
  • Portfolio monitoring: Work with portfolio companies during the investment period alongside the deal team to proactively monitor performance through reviewing reporting materials, process amendments & waivers. Supporting internal reporting, valuation updates, and portfolio reviews.
  • Contribute to deal work and credit analysis across other regions as needed, supporting the broader Private Credit team on an ad hoc basis
  • Assisting with the team’s and firm’s fundraising objectives, such as contributing to ad hoc fundraising requests, periodic updates of marketing materials and DDQs.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the platform, such as supporting corporate projects, contributing to our annual impact reporting process, and other ad-hoc team priorities or administrative tasks.
What We Offer
  • Exposure to highly unique investment mandate through bespoke credit transactions globally covering the full credit spectrum, and which combine financial performance with measurable social and/or environmental impact
  • Opportunity to shape and grow a differentiated private credit strategy within a mission-driven investment firm
  • Strong direct exposure to senior decision-makers in a flat, collaborative team structure
  • An entrepreneurial, engaging and stimulating work environment with a high degree of ownership and cross-regional collaboration, as part of a passionate, international and ambitious team
Job requirements
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, e.g. leveraged finance or other applicable sell-side / investment banking experience (preferably but not necessarily in credit), buy-side private credit or equity, or advisory/audit
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (preferably in credit), with a track record of producing high-quality investment work
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player able to operate independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Business fluency in English is required, including ability to conduct calls and prepare written materials; proficiency in additional languages such as Bahasa Indonesia is considered an advantage
  • Personal or professional experience in Asia or other emerging markets is a plus
