Zurich Insurance Group, ServiZurich in Barcelona, seeks an Investment Accounting & Reporting professional to manage end-to-end operations for alternative assets. You will generate investment accounting data and enhance monthly deliverables, driving accuracy and efficiency for internal clients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

• Fluency in English; German a plus.

Join Our Investment Management Team!

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Investment Management team in Barcelona, with a primary focus on operational tasks related to the Alternative Investment asset classes. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance our expertise and make a significant contribution to our business. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in generating investment accounting and reporting information for our internal clientele. You will be tasked with enhancing and automating our monthly deliverables and ad-hoc reporting procedures. Furthermore, in collaboration with our different stakeholder, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving our finance business procedures.

As an Investment Accounting & Reporting, Associate Director (Alternative Investment) you will have the opportunity to:

• Oversee end-to-end procedures for various alternative investment asset classes within our alternative investment service


• Prepare both local and international accounting principles/statutory and quarterly IFRS financial statements


• Ensure the quality of the variance analysis that supports group IFRS reporting


• Develop analytic dashboards, inclusive of all comments for our internal clients


• Resolve operational issues from other business functions, ensuring efficient, high-quality service when providing procedural advice and/or information


• Enhance data flow and accuracy within the fund's operations


• Use AI in your daily routine


• Work alongside experts in various technological domains.


• Enhance your skills with real-world experience


• Contribute to a team that values your input and creativity

What Makes You a Great Fit?

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting


• Familiarity with Alternative Investment products


• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field


• Comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, and operations


• Proficiency in international IFRS as well as local globally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements


• Experience in alternative investment accounting and affiliate and associate accounting matters is preferred


• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, German proficiency is a wish too
