Axalta in Asturias, Spain, is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst (logistics and warehousing) to monitor stock held in third-party warehouses and ensure systems are aligned. You will conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventories daily, and resolve stock deviations while coordinating with suppliers, plants, and sales teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reporting, and supporting audits, with a focus on continuous improvement of stock controls and processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or procurement.
• Strong English writing and speaking skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Inventory management of stocks in third-party warehouses.
• Conduct cycle counts and on-site audits across locations.
• Daily reconciliation of inventories in third-party warehouses.
• Identify, investigate and resolve stock deviations with corrective actions.
• Block or release stock based on quality or defect issues.
• Plan collection of goods identified for scrapping.
• Analyze warehouse stock losses and claims.
• Maintain relations with warehouse suppliers and internal teams.
• Support audits and provide stock control explanations.
• Prepare reports and analytics; participate in improvement projects.

We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Analyst (logistics and warehousing) to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain. The inventory control specialist will be responsible of controlling the stocks stored in our third‑party warehouses and making sure both systems (Supplier and Ours) are aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory management of stocks stored in Third-Party Warehouses
• Organize periodic cycle counts and stock counts in all our third-party locations, including onsite audits (Warehouse suppliers, contract manufacturers, customer consignments…)
• Daily reconciliation of our inventories stored in Third-Party Warehouses
• Identify and resolve stock deviations (Surplus, shortage, lost, damaged…). Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce the number of occurrences
• Block/Release stock when requested (defective product, quality issues, damaged…)
• Organize and plan in a timely manner the collection of goods identified for scrapping
• Analyze and claim the stock damaged and lost by the warehouse supplier
• Maintain effective relation with the different stakeholder (warehouse suppliers, production plants, sales, customer service…)
• Support internal and external audits to explain and clarify our stock controls in place
• Reporting and Analytics
• Active participation to defined projects, driving improvements

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, core area logistics preferred
• Experience skills in Logistics, Supply Chain or Procurement
• Very good language skills in English (writing and speaking) are required
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
• Computer knowledge: High proficiency in Excel. Experience with SAP will be an asset
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexible when dealing with changes
• Team spirit
• Strive for continuous improvement on existing processes and question and adapt own working methods
• Ability to work under pressure and able to manage multiple tasks
