Job summary

TheFork is seeking an Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist to join our Barcelona team. You will ensure reliable internal communications channels and coordinate HR and L&D initiatives, acting as a key enabler for stability and execution across the People & Culture group.

Your remit includes L&D operations logistics, event management, post-event follow-up, intranet updates, newsletters, and employer branding across LinkedIn.

In Italy, this position offers a gross TTC annual salary range between 36 000€ and 44.000€, in line with the collective bargaining agreement and the company compensation philosophy. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the role.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide world‑class operational support to the People team, ensuring the ultimate reliability of our internal communication channels and the seamless logistical execution of HR and L&D (Learning & Development) initiatives.

Your mission is to act as a key enabler for stability and execution excellence across the People & Culture team.

What you will do:

L&D Operations & HR Support (Approx. 60%)

• Logistics & Event Execution: Act as the primary execution arm for leadership and L&D initiatives, ensuring zero logistical friction for our People Events: live events, including venue booking, catering, and materials distribution; and webinars.
• On-Demand Communications: Execute requested communications (e.g., Slack posts, emails) for all People initiatives within 2 working days of the request.
• Post-Event Management: Ensure post-event surveys and in-call polls are deployed, and that event recordings and materials are uploaded and shared with the relevant audience within 2 working days of completion.
• Knowledge Management: Keep the HR Intranet/Notion pages up to date with the latest program information, templates, and relevant materials.
• Administrative Support: Maintain highly accurate attendance tracking and administrative management for all People-led sessions.

Internal Communications & Channel Consistency (Approx. 40%)

• Channel Rhythm: Manage the creation and distribution of internal communications, maintaining a 100% reliable rhythm for our core rituals and recurring HR activities.
• Monthly All Hands: Drive the full communication cycle (Save the date, agenda consolidation, and follow‑up) for every session without delays.
• Event Readiness: Complete "Pre-Event Checklists" (Google Meet setup, Calendar invites, deck consolidation) at least 48 hours before TheFork Pills and other HR webinars.
• Newsletters: Deliver the monthly company newsletter consistently and on time, aligned with the yearly HR communication calendar.
• Employer Branding: Champion our social media presence by curating and publishing weekly LinkedIn posts that highlight "Forkies'" life and employer branding content.
• Data & Insights: Monitor and analyze employee feedback, internal comms engagement, and LinkedIn usage to recommend actionable improvements.

Who you are:

• Experience: Previous experience in internal communications and executive communications. HR/L&D operations are a plus.
• Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages are a plus.
• Execution: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively and coordinate seamlessly with various departments.
• Tools: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and collaborative workspace tools (e.g., Notion, Slack). Knowledge of Generative AI tools applied to communications are a plus.
• Design: Familiarity with basic design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a strong plus.
