FTI Consulting invites a summer Intern to Madrid to join the Business Transformations team. You’ll work with experienced consultants to identify challenges, perform in-depth analysis and generate insights that shape strategic decisions.

The program emphasizes mentorship, on-the-job learning and collaboration in small teams, with a coach and Orientation Advisor guiding your development. Ideal candidates are MBA students graduating in 2027 or 2028, with at least three years of relevant experience,

About The Role

FTI Consulting is looking to invest in your future by considering you for a summer Intern opportunity, between June and August 2027.

What You’ll Do

As an Intern in FTI Consulting, you will be an integral part of a team. You will engage in activities that support our clients’ projects and contribute to our firm’s business development and intellectual capital development efforts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Provide support on live projects, including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel.
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., market sizing, market modelling, strategic planning, assessing business plans, etc.).
• Supporting the development of strategic plans, business transformation and integration of companies.
• Drafting of client presentations as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
• Assisting in the development of pitch books and other marketing materials.
• Conducting research on public and private companies and various industries.

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing practice, working with Business Transformation teams on client work. You will receive your own coach who will support you as a mentor and guide you through regular coaching sessions. This coach will act as a promoter of your professional development.

You will be matched with a Coach and Orientation Advisor to connect with throughout the internship program.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Studying towards your MBA degree, with a graduation date in 2027 or 2028
• Minimum three years of work experience desired in a financial, analytical, business or commercial role
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both orally and written
• Can communicate effectively
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Collaborative with strong project and people skills
• Able to conduct research effectively, both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s)
