FTI Consulting, Inc. invites applications for a full-time 6-month internship in its Forensic Accounting & Litigation Support team in Madrid, starting between January and March 2026.

You will join a multidisciplinary group of forensic accountants, investigators, and corporate intelligence experts supporting law firms, banks, and regulatory bodies in Spain and globally. The role emphasizes financial and economic analysis to back legal claims, with opportunities to contribute to expert witness

Formación

• Strong academic record in business, economics or law-related fields.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; ability to work in a diverse, international environment.

We also work in projects that involve corporate intelligence, compliance, data analytics and computer forensics, to undertake investigations related to corporate fraud, whistleblowing, assets tracing, or bribery and corruption allegations, among other.The projects we work on require us to address issues which often have a critical impact on businesses.What You’ll DoDuring this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in:Financial and economic analysis to support the strategy of our clients in their disputes. We usually elaborate expert witness reports of economic content that support the legal claims of our clients, e.g., damage valuations.Assist on the investigation of corporate irregularities, corruption allegations in the private sector, asset misappropriation, regulatory violations, patent and copyright infringement and financial reporting fraud.Support in presentations and reports of financial/compliance nature.Industry and company research using online tools and publicly available information.Gathering and synthesizing operating and financial information about companies and industries.Databases and Internet searches/investigations.Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to (i) work hand in hand with highly experienced professionals and (ii) participate in diverse projects with very different characteristics in terms of typology and industry.How You’ll GrowAs a member of this practice, you will be involved in highly complex and high-profile disputes/arbitrations, financial and reputational cases.
