Descripción del empleo

Company Description

Quasar Homes develops high-end villas in Marbella. As the project owner, we are responsible for delivering each project on time, on budget, and to a high design and construction standard. We work with external licensed architects, technical architects, engineers, contractors, interior suppliers, joinery manufacturers, FF&E suppliers, and material suppliers.

We are hiring an Interior Architect to support interior design direction, technical interior coordination, supplier packages, drawing control, material specifications, and construction-stage interior support.

This is a developer-side role focused on turning interior design intent into clear, buildable, coordinated, and supplier-ready information. The role helps close open interior decisions, reduce dependency on external designers and suppliers for every clarification, and ensure that interiors are properly coordinated with architecture, MEP, lighting, joinery, bathrooms, kitchens, finishes, furniture, and site execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interior Design Direction: Support and refine the interior design direction for villas, including layouts, material atmosphere, finish logic, joinery approach, furniture direction, and overall spatial quality.
  • Technical Interior Coordination: Coordinate interior information between architects, technical architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, procurement, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Quasar directors.
  • Drawing & Package Development: Prepare and update interior drawings, markups, bathroom elevations, kitchen layouts, joinery details, finish plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and supplier clarification packages.
  • Joinery Coordination: Develop and coordinate joinery information for kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, TV walls, dressing rooms, wall panels, storage units, hidden doors, and integrated furniture.
  • Material & Finish Control: Prepare and maintain finish schedules, material specifications, sanitaryware schedules, lighting coordination notes, ironmongery references, stone/tile layouts, furniture schedules, and FF&E information.
  • Supplier Packages: Prepare clear supplier-ready packages for quotation, sampling, production, approval, delivery, and installation.
  • Decision Closing: Help close open interior decisions by preparing options, comparisons, technical notes, reference images, quantities, supplier feedback, cost/time implications, and recommended next steps.
  • Procurement Support: Support the procurement/FF&E process so that ordered items match the approved design, dimensions, quality level, budget, and execution requirements.
  • Site Support: Visit site where required, review execution against approved drawings/specifications, issue markups, clarify details, and help resolve interior-related construction problems.
  • Design Alignment: Coordinate interiors with architecture, structure, MEP, HVAC, lighting, ceilings, joinery, stone, bathrooms, kitchens, landscape interfaces, and supplier packages.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Record design decisions, revisions, approvals, pending items, supplier status, material selections, and open issues using Notion and Google Workspace.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify drawing gaps, specification conflicts, supplier assumptions, missing decisions, interface clashes, and potential variation risks early, escalating with clear options and recommended actions.
