Job summary

CloudLinux is seeking a Product Owner to lead a small, senior, fully remote innovation squad that moves ideas from concept to MVP and into a product line. You will own the discovery pipeline, prioritisation, and the go/no-go process, reporting to the CPO.

This hands-on role splits 50% discovery and 50% building prototypes, with requirement to ship fast on a quarterly cadence, mentor engineers, and work with customers and hosting partners to validate value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with 2+ years in a lead role.
• Proven track record taking product from concept to first paying customers.
• Strong Linux proficiency and coding in Python, Go or TypeScript.
• Professional English, written and spoken; available to work EU hours.

Responsibilities

• Run the pipeline of product concepts and backlog.
• Deliver working MVP on fixed timebox with customer testing.
• Define success criteria with measurable metrics.
• Build prototypes and review designs and code.
• Lead a small distributed team and hire/mentor engineers.
• Conduct AI-augmented development and coach agents.
