SQUAD Group busca un DevOps Engineer especializado en containers y OpenShift para Madrid, en modalidad híbrida. Integrarás la plataforma del cliente público y asegurarás su rendimiento y seguridad.

3-5 años de experiencia en DevOps/infrastructure, dominio de Docker/Kubernetes y OpenShift, y experiencia con pipelines CI/CD y scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible) son deseables. Trabajarás en un entorno regulado y colaborarás con equipos de desarrollo e infraestructura.

Formación

• 3 a 5 años de experiencia en DevOps / administración de infraestructuras.
• Experiencia práctica con gestión de contenedores (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experiencia comprobada con OpenShift específicamente.
• Conocimiento de pipelines CI/CD y scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
• Confiable trabajando en entornos regulados o del sector público.

Responsabilidades

• Administrar y mantener la plataforma de contenedores (Kubernetes/OpenShift), asegurando estabilidad y rendimiento.
• Desplegar y gestionar lanzamientos de aplicaciones, con estrategias de rollback cuando sea necesario.
• Automatizar tareas operativas mediante scripting y herramientas como Ansible.
• Monitorear sistemas, diagnosticar incidencias y aplicar resolución de causa raíz.
• Gestionar el control de acceso y aplicar buenas prácticas de seguridad en el entorno de contenedores.
• Colaborar con los equipos del cliente para alinear prioridades y estándares operativos.

As part of our growing team, were seeking a DevOps Engineer. Based in Madrid (El Escorial), this role will put you at the core of a public sector clients infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of their containerized platform.

Your Role

You are a key pillar of our clients platform operations, providing hands-on technical expertise in containerization and platform administration. Youll ensure the deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation of the clients OpenShift and container infrastructure. Youll work in a hybrid setup, with 3 days per week on-site at the client, coordinating closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep applications running smoothly and securely.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the container platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift), ensuring stability and performance.
• Deploy and manage application releases, including rollback strategies where needed.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and tools such as Ansible.
• Monitor systems, diagnose incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Manage access control and apply security best practices within the container environment.
• Collaborate with client teams to align on operational priorities and standards.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure administration.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with OpenShift specifically.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
• Comfortable working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
