SQUAD Group busca un Ingeniero DevOps para gestionar la plataforma containerizada basada en OpenShift en Madrid, con un modelo híbrido.

Serás parte de un equipo que garantiza la confiabilidad y el rendimiento, trabajando con Kubernetes, Docker y pipelines CI/CD, en un entorno público regulado. Se requieren 3–5 años de experiencia, scripting en Bash/Python y Ansible, y capacidad para colaborar con equipos de desarrollo e infraestructura, con presencia 3 días a la semana en cliente en Madrid.

Formación

• 3–5 años de experiencia en DevOps / administración de infraestructuras.
• Experiencia práctica con contenedores (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experiencia demostrada con OpenShift.
• Conocimientos de pipelines CI/CD y scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
• Con experiencia en entornos públicos o altamente regulados.

Responsabilidades

• Administrar y mantener la plataforma de contenedores (Kubernetes/OpenShift), asegurando estabilidad y rendimiento.
• Desplegar y gestionar lanzamientos de aplicaciones, con estrategias de rollback.
• Automatizar tareas operativas mediante scripts y herramientas como Ansible.
• Monitorear sistemas, diagnosticar incidencias y resolver causas raíz.
• Gestionar el control de accesos y aplicar buenas prácticas de seguridad en el entorno de contenedores.
• Colaborar con equipos del cliente para alinear prioridades y estándares operativos.

As part of our growing team, we're seeking a DevOps Engineer. Based in Madrid (El Escorial), this role will put you at the core of a public sector client's infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of their containerized platform.

Your Role

You are a key pillar of our client's platform operations, providing hands-on technical expertise in containerization and platform administration. You'll ensure the deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation of the client's OpenShift and container infrastructure. You'll work in a hybrid setup, with 3 days per week on-site at the client, coordinating closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep applications running smoothly and securely.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the container platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift), ensuring stability and performance.
• Deploy and manage application releases, including rollback strategies where needed.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and tools such as Ansible.
• Monitor systems, diagnose incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Manage access control and apply security best practices within the container environment.
• Collaborate with client teams to align on operational priorities and standards.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure administration.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with OpenShift specifically.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
• Comfortable working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
