Job summary

Hires is seeking an Industrial Engineer with a strong background in quality management to join a fully remote team. You will develop, implement, and maintain QMS, monitor QA processes, conduct audits, and drive CAPA initiatives to ensure product excellence.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing QA and Spanish fluency, with remote collaboration across multiple sites. The position emphasizes collaboration with R&D, production, and engineering, plus delivering training and reporting findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 9001.
• Proven experience with quality control tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS according to ISO 9001.
• Establish and monitor quality control procedures throughout production.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure standards.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering to address issues.
• Develop and deliver quality-related training programs.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve quality complaints.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
• Stay updated on evolving quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
