Job summary

Airbus Operations Getafe is seeking a Tooling Development Engineer to lead the industrialization of new manufacturing means. You will act as the technical owner, coordinating across Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure reliable, safe, ergonomic, and maintainable tooling for Industry 4.0 adoption.

The role requires a degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing/engineering, and advanced English, with strong CATIA and C# skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 3 years in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related areas.
• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics and in a networking mode.
• Languages: Advanced level in English.
• Technical knowledge: programming in C#, advanced level of CATIA.

Responsibilities

• Lead E2E activities for industrialization of new industrial means and processes.
• Be technical owner ensuring stakeholder needs are fulfilled across departments.
• Support maintenance and production with technical expertise for reliability.
• Define concepts and modifications to meet requirements across functions.
• Use CATIA to create concepts and analyses for GD&T.
• Lead tender processes, evaluate suppliers technically, and manage milestones.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of assets; manage OT/OQ/OC.
• Attend concurrence engineering meetings to minimize cost and maximize feasibility.
• Provide shop floor support during first uses of delivered means.
