Job summary

Lear For You is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software powering industrial automation in manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with AI, controls and mechanical teams to deliver reliable, scalable applications for continuous plant operations.

You'll implement in C#/.NET and Python, apply UML and design patterns, integrate with hardware (PLCs, cameras), and optimize latency and memory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of industrial, embedded, real-time, or manufacturing software experience.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and Python; OO and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with UML, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain industrial software applications using C#/.NET and Python.
• Define software architecture and document with UML.
• Develop multi-threaded and asynchronous software for real-time image processing.
• Integrate software with industrial hardware via standard protocols.
• Optimize performance for 24/7 production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support automation and AI initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing at customer sites.
• Create and maintain technical documentation across teams.
