Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IIoT engineer to design, implement, and support industrial IoT solutions in a Madrid-area setting. You will connect processing equipment to cloud-based analytics platforms and collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers on technical requirements.

Role requires hands-on experience with Azure, InfluxDB, and Databricks, plus knowledge of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and OT cybersecurity best practices.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Cloud Engineering, or Digital Solutions.
• Experience delivering cloud-based software products using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with InfluxDB and Databricks for time-series data management.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA/HMI and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 and industrial cybersecurity.
• Fluent English (B2/C1) required; Spanish or German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement IIoT solutions connecting equipment to cloud apps.
• Integrate Siemens and Rockwell systems with Azure, InfluxDB, Databricks.
• Support digital apps for monitoring, asset management, predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers on requirements.
• Implement edge-to-cloud connectivity for real-time data collection.
• Drive standardization of digital architectures and integration frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity standards.
• Develop industrial data models and contextualized data structures.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
