Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst to help train and evaluate AI systems focused on identity and access control. This hourly contract role is remote with flexible hours, ideal for candidates with hands-on IAM work and a security mindset.

You will analyze IAM/SSO scenarios, identify misconfigurations, review RBAC and least-privilege policies, and provide feedback to improve AI training data.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms.
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently on task-based assignments.
• Able to communicate complex security concepts clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations.
• Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failure patterns.
• Review zero-trust architectures and access design decisions for accuracy and soundness.
• Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI models.
• Provide structured expert feedback that helps AI systems learn how IAM risk actually emerges and propagates.

What You’ll Do

• Background in penetration testing, red teaming, or security auditing

• Prior experience working with AI systems or data labeling workflows
