Job summary

Junior ICT Designer - Data Centers at AECOM in Madrid. You will work with architects, engineers and interior designers to create integrated ICT solutions and compliant cabling layouts for data centers and commercial facilities.

The role requires knowledge of ICT infrastructure and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Visio and Bluebeam, with strong English communication and collaborative skills. Hybrid work arrangement offered by AECOM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure and structured cabling.
• Experience with industry software: Revit, AutoCAD, Visio, Bluebeam, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Design structured cabling systems (copper and fiber) for Data Centers.
• Define cable pathways and spaces to support multiple providers.
• Specify racks, elevations, and passive components (ODFs, panels).
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards and develop drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate with architecture, electrical, mechanical and security teams.
• Assist with integration of security, building automation, and power management.
• Perform design tasks within budget and schedule with supervision.
