HCLTech in Spain is seeking a reliable IAM Business Analyst to join our Identity & Access Management team. You will support the Application Onboarding Factory, track sprint tasks, gather requirements, and produce clear business-facing documentation within Saviynt IGA.

You’ll coordinate Jira backlogs, craft user stories, assist UAT, and help design governance workflows for Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML). Familiarity with Saviynt or SailPoint is a plus; excellent English communication is required.

Overview of the Role

We are looking for a reliable, autonomous IAM Business Analyst to join our established Identity & Access Management team. In this support role, you will assist the IAM leads and project managers in running the Application Onboarding Factory, tracking sprint tasks, gathering functional requirements, and producing clean, business-facing documentation and communications within our Saviynt IGA environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Onboarding Factory Support

• Support the end-to-end onboarding pipeline by following up with Application Owners to collect required access models, accounts, entitlements, and approval logic.
• Track onboarding milestones, maintain status updates across multiple applications, and follow up diligently on pending technical or business inputs.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination: document test scenarios, follow up on defects, and assist business users during validation phases.

2. Sprint Organization & Task Coordination

• Assist the team leads in organizing and maintaining the Jira backlog (writing clear user stories, setting acceptance criteria, and updating ticket statuses).
• Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings, managing calendar constraints across different teams and time zones.
• Draft and distribute clear, timely meeting minutes (MoMs), ensuring agreed decisions are immediately captured into actionable Jira tasks with identified owners.
• Help team leads prepare status slides, sprint overviews, and progress reports ahead of regular review meetings.

3. Business Documentation & Visual Design

• Write clear, accessible, and professional end-user guides, FAQs, and step-by-step instructions for business audiences.
• Draft clear business-facing communication templates (rollout notices, access review instructions, onboarding notifications).
• Design clean, aesthetic process flowcharts and Swimlane diagrams (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.IO) following established corporate visual guidelines and templates.

4. IGA Functional Analysis

• Support the functional analysis of core governance workflows: Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML), access request catalogs, approval workflows, and access recertifications.
• Work closely with developers and senior analysts to clarify business rules and ensure configurations align with established architecture standards.
• Good understanding of identity governance fundamentals (JML lifecycle, access requests, approvals, access certifications, …).
• Experience or familiarity with Saviynt (or equivalent IGA tools like SailPoint) is a strong plus.

• Communication & Writing: excellent written and spoken English; strong ability to write user-friendly, polished notifications and functional documentation.
• Collaborative & Prepared: Attends scheduled sessions well-prepared, takes active notes, and fosters smooth collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
