H2SITE is seeking a PLC Automation Engineer to develop, test and commission Siemens PLC and SCADA software at client sites in the Basque Country. You will implement control procedures with TIA Portal, develop data analysis systems and program PLCs while collaborating with process commissioning and electrical teams.

The role requires 3+ years’ experience, knowledge of Profinet/Modbus, and the ability to travel up to 30–40% to project sites and suppliers.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience programming and commissioning industrial equipment.
• Solid knowledge of Siemens PLC and TIA Portal.
• Experience with WinCC Unified SCADA and fieldbus networks (Profinet, Modbus TCP).
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation / Allen‑Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% of time.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, commission and test PLC/SCADA software at customer locations.
• Implement and modify control procedures in Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal.
• Develop, implement and maintain data analysis system (control room).
• Program PLCs and review electrical engineering work.
• Coordinate with electrical installation subcontractors and operations team for FAT/SAT.
• Support I&C activities and provide remote access solutions.
