Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Project Engineer to join its Power & Industrial business in Madrid, hybrid role at Las Rozas. You will be the execution lead for Steam Generation Solution Operations, coordinating with discipline specialists and vendors to ensure timely, error-free delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

The role focuses on maintaining schedule integrity, providing feedback to team members, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Accountable Project Engineer responsible for execution of work packages.
• Strong coordination with discipline specialists and vendors.
• Ability to communicate across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned work packages within a project.
• Coordinate with other processes (purchase, fabrication control, QA/QC, construction/erection, commissioning).
• Provide information to vendors and ensure timely fabrication and delivery.
• Alert Project Manager to delays or changes and support approved changes.
