Swiss Re is seeking a Penetration Tester in Spain to improve and develop its testing strategy, ensuring security assessments of web applications and APIs are delivered and remediations coordinated and fulfilled. The role is hybrid, balancing work from home and office in Spain.

You will join the Penetration Testing team within GSTP, simulating real-world cyberattacks and reporting findings to IT owners and stakeholders. A strong background in OWASP Top 10 and testing tools is expected.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of information security and penetration testing experience.
• Strong understanding of software development and architecture.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
• Understanding of security frameworks (ISO27001/2, NIST, OWASP Top 10).
• Experience with vulnerability management and testing tools (Burp Suite, nmap, Qualys, Bruno/Swagger, SQLMap, Kali Linux).
• Experience in cloud security and testing cloud environments.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to business and technical audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience working in an international environment.

• Execute penetration tests across web apps, APIs, networks, mobile, thick clients and AI/LLM-based systems.
• Own, perform and deliver security assessments.
• Develop, maintain and validate AI-driven agents and tools to automate recurring testing tasks.
• Communicate test results effectively to IT owners and stakeholders.
• Compile lessons-learnt sessions and educational material for IT developers and other relevant parties.
• Cooperate closely with global teams from IT application owners and information security specialists.
• Be curious and relentlessly improve testing approaches.
• Apply OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, testing procedures and remediation recommendations.
