Job summary

T-Systems Iberia is recruiting a Senior Mobile Core Network Engineer for our Madrid hub. You will integrate and test cloud-native CNF solutions across 4G/5G core networks, working within cross-functional squads to deliver customer-focused telecom services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with mobile core networks (4G/5G) and CNF integrations.
• Proven ability to implement and test cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate new developments, adaptations and configuration changes to implement new customer requirements in our mobile core network test laboratory.
• Use CI/CD pipelines and test automation environments.
• Test and verify that all requirements are met correctly and completely.
• In case of failure, conduct root cause analyses, secure evidence and initiate corrections; programming and automating test cases.
• Improve implementations to optimize customer experience, reliability and efficiency; contribute to CI/CD pipelines and test automation for cloud-native applications.
• Verify and improve high availability solutions and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide support for complex projects across development, QA, and project planning, as well as assist with the implementation of new mobile core software releases.
• Collaborate closely with involved implementation teams to streamline processes, enhance software and system performance.
