Humankind Global Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Malaga (Spain) or Madrid, with hybrid work and 2 days per week in the office. You will join a collaborative technical team, delivering reliable environments, automation and continuous improvement across the software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on infrastructure management, automation using Terraform and Ansible, and strong experience with GitLab CI/CD and container technologies.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Experience managing VMs in OpenStack or VMware.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD, ideally GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure, OS, apps, networking and pipelines.
• Knowledge of DNS, routing, TLS certificates, load balancing.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK/EFK.
• Exposure to Vault and Keycloak for secrets and access control.
• Strong communication to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with Argo CD, Helm and high-availability environments would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Work with clients to understand requirements and deliver DevOps solutions.
• Support and maintain development, test, pre-production and production environments.
• Manage virtual machines across private cloud and virtualization platforms.
• Automate infrastructure and tasks using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Bash and Python.
• Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Standardise environments and reduce configuration drift.
• Monitor health, capacity and availability and improve configurations.
• Build reusable infrastructure code, templates and containers.
• Troubleshoot networking, DNS, certificates, IAM and secrets management.
• Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, database, networking and security teams.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, automation and delivery speed.
