Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany, based in Madrid with remote/hybrid options. You will program analyses for Module 4, evaluate clinical trial data, and contribute to automated analysis workflows in a cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate has a biostatistics or data science background, HTA/AMNOG knowledge, and strong SAS skills with optional R experience, plus fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access preferred
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM)
• Familiarity with German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken (must)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, with a focus on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4
• Perform scientific assessment and analysis of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs
• Contribute to automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team)
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G‑BA and HTA bodies
