Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. The role focuses on statistical programming, analysis of clinical trial data, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a remote/hybrid setting based in Spain.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in SAS programming, knowledge of CDISC SDTM/ADaM, and fluent German and English. A Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• German AMNOG process, IQWiG, or G‑BA procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical analyses for Module 4 in German AMNOG dossiers.
• Analyze clinical trial data including efficacy, safety, and endpoints.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure quality and clarity of generated outputs.
• Monitor methodological developments from HTA bodies.
