Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid, Spain, seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities for Germany. The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with strong statistical programming experience and an interest in translating clinical evidence into reimbursement decisions.

You will work on Module 4 analyses, SDTM/ADaM data, and collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams in a hybrid, Spain-based setup.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute) and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data for efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroups.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure quality, clarity, and traceability of results.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and relevant HTA bodies.
