Job summary

Renvolt Energy seeks an HSE Technician based in Valladolid or Madrid to perform inspections, audits and daily HSE guidance for O&M teams, contractors and subcontractors. You will participate in risk assessments, enforce control measures, and verify compliance with PTW/LOTO and electrical safety.

Travel to sites across Spain is required to support international activities. Ideal candidates hold FP Grado Superior in risk prevention with a minimum of two years in HSE roles, preferably in renewable

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold FP Grado Superior or Intermediate in Occupational Risk Prevention, Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment, preferably in renewable energy or industrial sectors.
• Experience with contractors in operational environments and knowledge of Spanish safety legislation.

Responsibilities

Job description

Renvolt is looking for an HSE Technician, based in Valladolid or in Madrid, that will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct HSE inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Support incident reporting, investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide daily HSE guidance to O&M teams, contractors and subcontractors.
• Participate in risk assessments and ensure effective implementation of control measures.
• Verify compliance with PTW, LOTO, electrical safety and other critical operational safety requirements.
• Monitor PPE, safety equipment and emergency preparedness resources.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives.
• Maintain HSE records, reports and performance indicators, supporting continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
• Support contractor HSE management, audits and compliance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
• Travel regularly to operational sites across Spain and provide support to international activities when required.
• Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant and efficient O&M operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior or Intermediate) in Occupational Risk Prevention, Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role, preferably within the renewable energy, industrial, electrical or maintenance sectors.
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors in operational environments.
• Knowledge of Spanish occupational health and safety legislation and environmental requirements.
• Experience in renewable energy, industrial maintenance, electrical works or similar operational environments will be considered an advantage.
• Additional training in Occupational Risk Prevention, Electrical Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety or Working at Height is desirable.
• Experience working within ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems is considered an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Fluent in Spanish and a good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Driving Licence (Category B) and willingness to travel regularly to operational sites across Spain.
