Opdenergy seeks an HSE Technician to support its projects in Italy. You will ensure compliance with Italian HSE legislation, support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementations, and prepare HSE documentation and risk assessments.

Remote working model with periodic visits to Bologna offers a permanent contract, growth opportunities in a global environment, and chances to deliver toolbox talks, investigate incidents, and monitor PPE and safe practices.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar HSE role.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Good knowledge of Italian Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Preposto certification (mandatory).
• Fluent Italian and a good level of English and/or Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with Italian Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, projects permit, and company HSE policies.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, risk assessments and environmental records.
• Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Monitor the correct use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Verify environmental compliance, including waste management and environmental permits.
• Coordinate contractor documentation and ensure all HSE requirements are met before site access.
• Manage Environmental Monitoring Plan and implementation of environmental and compliance measures on projects.
• Manage budget related environmental measures and compliance activities.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings when required.
• Support investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor corrective and preventive action plans.
• Collect and analyse HSE KPIs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing HSE performance.
• Report regularly to the Corporate HSE department.

The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.

Opdenergy is now looking for a HSE Technician to give support to our projects in Italy.

What will you help with?

• Ensure compliance with Italian Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, projects permit, and company HSE policies.

Who you are:

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within renewable energy, construction or industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of Italian Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Experience working with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Preposto certification (mandatory).
• Fluent Italian and a good level of English and/or Spanish.
