IHG Hotels & Resorts in Barcelona seeks an IT Manager to ensure proper installation and efficient operation of our computer systems and to uphold security standards across the hotel. You will lead hardware management, backups, and policy adherence while driving a technology roadmap that aligns with business needs.

Key requirements include a computer science/IT degree and 2+ years of related experience, fluency in the local language and English, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• +2 years’ related experience or with computer set-up and troubleshooting.
• Fluent in local language and English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of networks, operating systems and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and monitor all computer hardware; ensure systems installed properly and efficiently.
• Maintain hotel information security compliant with standards.
• Keep up-to-date list of hardware/software at the hotel.
• Ensure backups are completed, documented and stored per specs.
• Control security for computer room; ensure fire protection, temperature and power specs.
• Administer user IDs and passwords; secure sensitive resources and libraries.
• Provide recommendations to align technology with short/long-term roadmaps.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling departmental costs.
