SAF Helicópteros España, part of the SAF Aerogroup, seeks an Operations Manager to lead the deployment and ongoing management of HEMS activities across Catalonia and Navarra, expanding Spain-wide operations from its base in Barcelona.

The role requires proven leadership in aviation or complex operations, deep knowledge of EASA regulations, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders while driving safety and performance improvements across bases.

Formación

• Proven leadership experience in aviation, HEMS, aerospace, or complex operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of EASA/AESA regulations and aviation compliance.
• Experience managing large-scale projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English (Catalan is a strong advantage; French is a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the operational deployment of five HEMS bases across Spain.
• Ensure compliance with EASA and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Safety, HR, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Build strong relationships with public authorities, healthcare institutions, and strategic partners.
• Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support SAF Aerogroup's long-term expansion strategy in the Spanish market.
• Promote a strong safety culture aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
