Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd in Madrid is seeking a senior European Procurement Lead to shape sourcing strategy and partner with management across European operations. You will influence supplier terms, cost and resilience while developing the function to meet evolving business needs with autonomy and visibility at leadership level.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic sourcing, procurement or category management experience from food, nutrition, supplements, ingredients, consumer goods or a similarly regulated sector.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers or co-manufacturing partners on significant commercial agreements.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability, including using market and pricing intelligence to inform sourcing decisions.
• Fluent English and Spanish, with the ability to operate across international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape sourcing and category strategies across ingredients, manufacturing partners and the wider supply base.
• Strengthen supplier performance and commercial terms through structured negotiation, evaluation and market benchmarking.
• Develop alternative suppliers and contract manufacturing relationships to improve cost, resilience and strategic flexibility.
• Influence procurement decisions alongside R&D, Quality, Finance, Sales and senior European stakeholders.
