Job summary

remoteo is seeking its first operations hire to run the company’s cross-functional support, partnering with the CEO and CFO to tackle finance operations, people, legal and admin across countries. You will own onboarding, contracts, payroll, vendors, tooling, and the office, ensuring the founders can focus on product and strategy.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in operations, finance or chief-of-staff roles at startups or scale-ups.
• Fluent with numbers: read a P&L and a cash-flow statement, build a budget, and have opinions on both.
• Hands-on with payroll, contracts, insurance, suppliers, equipment, tax filings and cross-country admin.
• Experience working with a CFO or external finance team is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Onboard every new hire so they are productive in the first week.
• Own contracts, compliance and vendor management across multiple countries.
• Build and manage tools, office operations and admin infrastructure.
• Negotiate with suppliers and protect executives’ time and focus.
• Proactively identify risks and prevent issues before they arise.
