Netenders is seeking a Head of IT to lead the technology strategy for our fast-growing e-commerce platform in Barcelona. You will partner with the CEO/COO to drive innovation, oversee the internal IT team and coordinate remote vendors to deliver scalable solutions.

You will mentor engineers, define platform KPIs, and ensure high availability, security, and performance across frontend, backend and native apps. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.

Formación

• Extensive experience in technical leadership roles in e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Rails and modern tech stacks.
• Experience with Google Merchant Center, Analytics, Shopping and Ads.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute a visionary e-commerce technology roadmap with leadership alignment.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and set industry best practices.
• Design and manage infrastructure across frontend, backend and native apps.
• Ensure uptime, security and site reliability with proactive prevention.
• Recruit, mentor and oversee tech teams focused on Ruby on Rails and React.
• Lead KPI definition and actions to improve platform performance.
• Oversee feature development, timelines and budget adherence.
• Manage website rollouts and Google feed integrations per guidelines.
