This role is part of a global team working toward common goals. We operate as one company, across all locations, with shared responsibility and clear accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget and forecast: lead the annual budget and the rolling forecast calendar, from guidelines to asset-level submissions to Executive Committee approval; consolidate inputs from asset, regional and corporate teams and challenge assumptions on generation, availability, OPEX and CAPEX
  • Management Reporting: deliver the monthly management report with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year by asset and geography, with clear drivers and recommended actions; translate complex financial information into clear conclusions, highlighting material risks, opportunities and decisions requiring management attention
  • Management P&L and cost framework: refine and maintain the Management P&L and cost accounting framework, so that asset and geography performance are comparable
  • Cash flow and covenants: review and challenge cash flow forecasts by asset. Prepare and update cash flow forecasts at corporate level; monitor debt service coverage and corporate debt covenant headroom; flag risks early. Work with different scenarios.
  • Value Creation: work closely with the Value Creation team in charge of long-term financial projections, to ensure consistency between the budget and rolling forecasts and the long-term projections and business plan
  • Stakeholders support: Prepare the financial input for presentations to the CEO, shareholders, banks and rating or valuation advisors
  • Business partnering: act as the finance counterpart and trusted partner of senior management and business leaders across development, construction, operations and asset management to understand financial performance, anticipate risks and agree corrective actions, constructively challenging business assumptions and recommendations to align planning with operational reality
  • Group-wide coordination: coordinate FP&A activities with regional and country finance teams, ensuring consistent methodologies, reporting standards and deadlines
  • Process, systems and data: improve the FP&A process and tooling across the Group; simplify reporting, eliminate manual processes and improve the speed and reliability of financial information; strengthen financial data quality, consistency and integration across systems and geographies
  • Analytics and BI: lead the development of financial analytics, dashboards and reporting tools (including BI reporting), leveraging ERP systems, Power BI and automation

  • Proven ability to improve financial processes, implement reporting solutions and deliver greater efficiency through automation
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, industrial or other capital-intensive sectors is desirable
Key Competencies
  • Strong financial judgement and ability to identify issues that materially affect business performance
  • Confidence and credibility to challenge senior stakeholders and provide independent, well-supported recommendations
  • Proven people management skills, with the ability to develop teams and raise performance standards
  • High standards of accuracy, financial integrity, ownership and accountability
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance executives
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems, Power BI and financial planning tools
